Online degree?

Do employers recognize an online degree from an accredited online university? Is finding a job with one impossible?
I am in my second year at Florida Metropolitan University Online, studying for a Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Science (programming). So will I be able to find a job?

I went thru an online university that actually had job placement. So yes, they are out there, and are worth it!

Do you know of an ABET Accredited BSEM Online degree?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: online degree accredited

I am looking for an online univerity or college that is offering a BSEM (Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management) that is both ABET and regionally (NOT nationally) accredited. I doubt that one exists but I figured I would give it a shot. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance!

I’ve been hunting for an ABET online program for a long time, and the only one I’ve found is University of North Dakota. They have Electrical, Chemical, Civil and Mechanical Bachelor degrees. The out of state tuition is kind of high. They used to have a distance program that took care of prerequisites like Calc, english, etc… at a much cheaper price, and they then apply those credits to your program of choice. The only catch to all this is that the lab courses are condensed into one week, on campus labs. Everything but the labs online. Check them out at und.edu, distance engineering degree program

What online schools offer an accredited Bachelor Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: online degree accredited

I am looking for a FULL (not just a completion program because I have no transfer credits) Bachelors Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management at an online school. It needs to be accredited and preferably not very expensive. I'm having some trouble finding many online schools that even offer this degree. Can anyone provide me with some helpful suggestions?

I just did a web search and came up with a whole page of schools that offer this degree:

http://www.elearners.com/online-degrees/hotel-and-hospitality-management.htm

Online schools are not cheap. For the most part, they are private, and charge the same rates as a traditional private school. However, almost all colleges offer some types of Distance Learning or Extension Degree programs online now. A couple that were listed on this site were state schools–Univ. of Mass., and Univ. of Delaware. Contact your state college or university or look on their website and see what they have to offer. Can't hurt to look.

What are some online accredited schools that I can get a degree in Mathematics from?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: online degree accredited

i want to get a degree in mathematics, online if possible but when it is time for me to transfer credits to get another degree I don't want to have any problems.

There are a whole bunch of them. Try to find a copy of Bear's Guide to Non-Traditional Programs, by Dr. John Bear. It is the alpha and omega on this subject.
